An Ocean of Sparkling Solar Panels Photographed at the Nevada Solar Reserve by Reuben Wu

Chicago based photojournalist Reuben Wu (previously here and
here) recently snapped the Nevada SolarReserve, a group of over 10,000 mirrors
which power almost 75,000 homes throughout its peak season. Reuben Wu snapped
the mass of reflective panels during evening, letting the brilliant colors of
the sunset to be doubled into the shining planes below. Wu compares the energy
facility to a topographic ocean, making it one of the greatest land art fittings
ever built.

One of Wu’s earlier series "Lux Noctis" recently won impressive
prize in Photo District News’ The Great Outdoors Photo Contest. You can see
more of Wu’s natural and man-made landscapes on his Instagram and Facebook.
